The Figure

The uniqueness of the encaustic medium is in its versatility. It lends itself to endless experimentations from collage to sculpture. This portfolio reflects unique applications of this medium. In this series, I celebrate the figure by utilizing encaustic as a collage medium, allowing me to embed materials within the wax to achieve rich, three-dimensional effects.
