In this painting, Little Red is surrounded by birch trees that act as a gate to the journey that lies ahead of her. She is guided by the cold winter’s moon.
Occurring near the winter solstice, the Cold Moon invites you to take a closer look at what lies beneath the seemingly cold and frozen surface.
This small painting’s palette is simplified to 3 basic colours. The dark blue of the sky, the whiteness of the snow and the splash of the powerful red of her cloak.
