The peace and serenity that is found amidst the bullrushes is captured deeply through the encaustic medium. This piece from my “Shorelines” collection contemplates the shoreline and the deep meditative quality it possesses. Walks along the shores of the lakes in Prince Edward County provide moments of deep peace and clarity for me and inspired this series of serene paintings.
